Privacy Policy

Zyroo turns your trips into a report of fuel consumption, cost and CO₂. To do that it needs some data — this policy explains what data, what for, who it's shared with and how you can delete it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed for the app to work, we don't sell your data, and you can delete your account from within the app itself.

1. Who we are

Zyroo (“we”) is the controller of the data collected through the Zyroo mobile application (the “App”) and the zyroo.app website. You can contact us at edisson.mata@zyroo.app.

2. What data we collect

2.1 Your account data

You sign in with Google or Apple. From your provider we receive your name, email address and, if available, your profile picture. We never see or store your password. If you use Apple's “Hide My Email”, we only receive the relay address.

2.2 Location (GPS)

It's the heart of the App and is used only for what you see in it:

2.3 Vehicles and fuel

2.4 Preferences

Units (distance, volume, consumption, CO₂), currency and language.

2.5 Subscription

If you purchase Zyroo Premium, the purchase is processed by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. We never see your card or your payment details. We use RevenueCat to know whether your subscription is active (user identifier, plan status and anonymous store receipts).

2.6 Usage and diagnostics

3. What we use your data for

We do not sell your data. We do not share your location or your trips with advertisers. There is no advertising in the App.

4. Who we share it with

We work with providers that process data on our behalf, solely to operate the App:

ProviderPurpose
Amazon Web Services (AWS)Infrastructure: servers, storage of trips and reports, authentication (Amazon Cognito).
Apple / GoogleSign-in and subscription payment processing.
RevenueCatSubscription status management.
Google Analytics / FirebaseUsage analytics for the App and the zyroo.app website.
SentryError and crash reports.
MapTilerBase maps on which your routes are drawn (it receives map tile requests, which include your IP address).
Google Roads APIVisual snapping of the route to the actual roads: we send the trip coordinates to align the trace with the streets. It only affects how the map is drawn, never the consumption calculation.

We may also disclose data if a valid law or court order requires it.

5. How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. The raw GPS points stored on your device are deleted once the trip report is ready. If you delete your account, your personal data, trips, vehicles and refuelings are removed from our systems; residual copies may persist in backups for a limited period before being purged.

6. Your rights and how to delete your data

7. Security

All communication between the App and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Data is stored on AWS infrastructure with restricted access. No system is foolproof, but we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

8. Minors

The App is intended for drivers and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact us to delete it.

9. International transfers

Our providers (AWS, Google, Apple, RevenueCat, Sentry, MapTiler) may process data in data centers outside your country, mainly in the United States, under their own contractual data-protection safeguards.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy substantially, we will note it in the App or on this page by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after a change implies your acceptance.
